The Braseltons

Ok, this is the first entry. Tammy is on her cruise having fun. Tom is stuck here hating it. The real “missing Tammy” did not kick in until last night. She and Andrea were on their way about noon on Sunday. I had to drive to Dallas to work on my brother’s network. I drove to Dallas with minimal “missing Tammy” problems (tell ya what – I’m gonna be using the “missing Tammy” a bunch. I am gonna shorten all of this to “mT”. There will be no quotes, you will just know what I am talking about.) Anyway, got to Dallas (4 hour drive), worked on the computers for a total of approximately 8 minutes and fixed them. I went to the restroom and drove home. So, up to this point, I had a number 2 at McDonald’s (two cheeseburgers and frys and a drink) so I was hungry. I stopped at the ATM and the machine laughed at me. It said that I had “Insufficient Funds”. What the hell? More on that later… My mT problems were still under control at this time. I got home and greeted ibbi. While heading out the back door, it hit me! mT was all over the place. The house was quiet. There was no smell of coffee brewing. There was nobody there to ask “wanna go smoke?”. Ok, that sucked. So, ibbi and I went out and had a smoke. I came back in and the mT crap got worse because I was heading right for the bed. I was pooped. I brushed my teeth, took off my clothes and climbed in to a cold and lonely bed.

That crap was just yesterday evening! Doh! This is gonna suck all week. This morning was the same. No smell of coffee. No “wanna go smoke?”. No “Good Morning, Honey!”. No “Have a great day!”. There will certainly be no plans of a PL (Productive Lunch) or even just a lunch. I moped to work and sat through another boring Monday meeting.

Alrighty, back to the “Insufficient Funds” crap. I check my bank account after my meeting. Apparently, I was billed twice for the cruise I booked for Tammy and myself. Oh you jerks! Oh well. I will find out what the deal is and have it corrected. So currently, I have a friggin’ NEGATIVE balance – bigtime! Damn. Living on quarters for lunch this week!

Friend Paul IMed me this morning. I have to go to his house on Saturday and help him dig up his sewer line. Apparently this will save him $2200! I told him to have plenty of beer handy and I’ll help .
