What could be worse than someone biting on your private parts? Well, Tammy is now in fear every time she breast feeds. Zoe has started biting her with her little two bottom teeth. As Tammy described it to me, it is not a gentle and slow bite. It is a quick – “I’m gonna eat this thing right off of you!” – type of bite. She is concerned about this as it could possibly end breast feeding.

We tried using her nipple shield but Zoe just thinks she has a teething ring in her mouth and just plays with it. Every time Zoe bites, Tammy tells her no and pulls her away for a minute or two. Then she allows Zoe to return and continue feeding.

As a male, I cannot imagine how sensitive the area is. Knowing that there is a high possibility of getting bit by some razor sharp piranha teeth has to drive Tammy bonkers. It would me, Ouch!
