As I accepted my change after our ice cream purchase, I heard a familiar uncommon noise. I knew that I had something special in my hand. It is a 1964 real silver quarter. The look is brighter, it is lighter and it clinks different. I smiled as I thanked the fellow.
The picture is the 1964 on the left and the one on the right is a 2006.
