I’ve been really pruning everything. Seems it’s been helping. The cucumber has a lot of new growth. The beans are pretty bare right now, but I’m hoping all the pruning gets them back in shape. I also planted several more beans to get them producing enough to actually eat- hopefully. Also planted head lettuce, spinach, more mesclun lettuce and herbs. Overall the garden seems to be recovering from the spider mites and my attempt at killing them. The only thing that really worked was to spray with fresh water each leaf on top and bottom. And rubbing the bottom of each leaf- this smashes the little egg sacks. Did this DAILY! still doing this daily. Really working to clean up the mites and get all the new growth. BUT the leaves with the flour mixture turned kind of moldy looking. But taken care of with pruning.
Guess that’s about it for now.
