Responsible stinks.

It sucks being the responsible one. I am at my brother’s house and he is out to dinner. I was tasked with watching over a party that his son, Christian, is having.

There was beer and vodka. As a responsible parent, I confiscated it all. I told them that their parents can come back and get it later. I feel like such a jerk but this is my role now as a parent. Fortunately, Christian is helping out tremendously and acting very mature about it. Whew.

Creemore Springs Premium Lager

We stopped and ate at a Gino’s Pannini in Barrie. I asked the guy to impress me with a Canadian beer. He gave me a Creemore Springs Premium Lager which was brewed down the street.

That stuff is the bomb! It has an excellent taste and we picked up a six pack ($12.75!) at the LCBO.

Apparently you don’t just pick up beer at Walmart here. They have liquor stores (LCBO) and Beer Stores (that’s the name).

The beer is good but this is too cost prohibitive to purchase again.

It’s a place in Holley, NY. They have a really broad selection of beer. It is heavenly.

We are at the Village German Restaraunt

Ok, I’m a fatty. We are at the same restaraunt that we were at this morning. It is that good. It is not cheap but it is worth it.

I had a wonderful schnitzel plate with a lemon sauce and capers. Crap! It was great! This place rocks!
